Terms of Service

1. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to register.

2. The Service

Cosmic Circle provides Vedic (sidereal) astrology calculations, charts, dasha timelines, compatibility and bond features, AI-assisted readings, and optional social features (connections and messaging). The astrological calculations run in your browser; some features require an account.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your birth details.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure, and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You may delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to attempt to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, defame, impersonate, or harm another person.
• Post or send content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, harassing, infringing, deceptive, or that you have no right to share.
• Send spam, solicitations, or bulk/automated messages.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data, or any non-public part of the Service.
• Probe, scan, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service or its security.
• Use the Service to provide paid professional astrology, medical, legal, or financial advice to third parties as if it were authoritative.

6. Your content & messaging

You retain ownership of the content you create (e.g. messages and profile information). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and display it solely to operate the Service for you and your intended recipients. You are solely responsible for your content and for your interactions with other users. Messaging is intended only between users who have mutually connected; treat other users with respect.

7. Content reports & grievances

We act as an intermediary for content that users create. If you encounter content or conduct that violates these Terms or the law, report it to our Grievance Officer at sriharishivom@gmail.com. We will acknowledge reports within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, text, graphics, the “Cosmic Circle” name and logo, and the astrology engine — is owned by Srihari R or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service except as expressly permitted.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example, our authentication/database provider, the AI model provider, and a geocoding service). Your use of features that depend on them may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

10. Disclaimers & no warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that astrological calculations, predictions, or AI-generated readings are accurate, reliable, complete, or suitable for any purpose, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Srihari R will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or your reliance on any content — even if advised of the possibility. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Srihari R from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

13. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law) will survive.

14. Changes to the Service & Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give prominent notice. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
